Dear Colleagues,
Over the last two decades, African Diaspora communities and people of the Diaspora have achieved significant economic/political footholds in the global market place. CEO's and CFO's of Fortune 500 companies, presidents of commodities-rich countries, academic leaders, successful entrepreneurs--- the Diaspora has produced individuals who are impacting the 21st century market place. Countries, both developed and developing, are gaining unprecedented access to information and capital by leveraging new technologies.
Opportunity Funding Corporation (OFC) and the government of Bermuda have partnered to host a gathering of business, government and non profit leaders to explore promising market opportunities in the 21st century. The invitation-only event will "push the needle of thought" around sector opportunities. Abt Associates (www.abtassociates.com), Yale School of Management (www.mba.yale.edu), Institute of Caribbean Studies (www.icsdc.org) and the Corporate Council on Africa (www.africancl.org) are Forum Strategic Partners who will support Thought Leaders in examining opportunities in health technology, global media, agribusiness, energy, infrastructure projects and more.
We invite you to participate in this historic gathering. We invite you to contribute to the critical thinking, dialogue and deal development opportunities generated by the 2008 OFC Bermuda Forum.
